Assistant in philosophy of law and comparative law.

Sworn in as attorney in Amsterdam in July 1974 with J. Nolen as supervising principal.
Became a partner at Nolen Advocaten in 1977.
Increasingly specialised in litigation in the field of banking law, e.g. credit loans, collateral
security, payment transactions, duty of care and securities.
Mid-1991: partner at Schut & Grosheide.
Independent law firm since 1 January 1999.
Member of the association for lawyers specialising in securities law.
Guiding case law in litigation where I represented one of parties, published in the legal
periodicals Nederlandse Jurisprudentie (NJ), Kort Geding (KG), Jurisprudentie Onderneming
